Hey there, I am Veronica and this is my blog of joy and pain caused by the wonderful experience of studying abroad.

I am originally from CSU Northridge but for 10 months I will be studying at Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan.

aliveatnight:

Im spending a wonderful Birthday morning out on my balcony watching Game of Thrones and relaxing. I am loving this. The weather is nice, the air is fresh, and there are never any time for me to sit around outside in my underwear like I would back home. In a few hours I will get to Skype my family. Later tonight I will drink with the girls.
I feel like today is going to be a nice day.

I don’t usually take pictures of people on trains, but this guy looked SO COMFY.

This looks like the Tozai..lol

I hope everyone can forgive me

for just realizing now reblogging from my phone was sending posts to this blog instead of my Main Blog.

I am sure you all learned more about me than you wanted to know.

Just registered for my classes! I hope I get into all the ones I want, wish me luck!
Anonymous: hey, Im planning on studying abroad in japan but I don't know if its safe to live there alone for a girl, what do you think ?

If you are worried about that, then this is a good place to go. Japan is one of the safest places ever. I mean, it is obviously not good to go out alone, especially if you are drunk and/or it is dark ANYWHERE in the world, but it is a lot safer here. I go out on my own all the time, especially when I have insomnia. I would say go for it! And if anything you would make friends out here you can go out and hang out with and wont be alone all the time. Hope I helped!

A day full of wind making my room sway and nearly busting in my balcony door, and to top it all off a little earthquake just now >..< my room has been moving around literally all day and it is just so nerve wracking…

yejj: Hello, I am so glad that I found your blog! I actually applied to the CSU IP program as well for South Korea and now nervously waiting for the acceptance letter!! :/ Do you know if everyone who applies get accepted? I meet all the requirements (GPA, grade level, etc) and turned in all documents on time! I'm so sick of waiting! Thanks so much! Hope you're having a blast in Japan!! ^^

Hi!! Congrats! Yes, every person from my school got accepted, I dont know about the other schools, but pretty sure. There isnt much of an acceptance, they just kinda tell you to give them money and eventually buy a plane ticket lol then you know you are accepted.
